Hope

Can the 4 minute mile be broken?

Some said human body couldn't do it

Rogers Banister crossed finish line in 3 59.4 seconds

Hope can inspire dreams and spur us to realize those dreams

Don't be lazy in fulfilling your hopes. GO AND DO!

You need hope faith and charity

Faith is rooted in Jesus Christ
Hope is centered in the Atonement
Charity in the pure love of Christ

You can vote...but you won't change natural laws. You can vote against gravity but that is not going to stop it from having effect.

  • One cannot legislate the maniacs off the street... these maniacs can only be shut down by an armed citizenry. Indeed bad things can happen in nations where the citizenry is armed, but not as bad as those which seem to be threatening our disarmed citizenry in this country at this time.

D. Todd Christofferson
The lack of internal control by individuals breeds external control by governments. One columnist observed that “gentlemanly behavior [for example, once] protected women from coarse behavior. Today, we expect sexual harassment laws to restrain coarse behavior. . .

“Policemen and laws can never replace customs, traditions and moral values as a means for regulating human behavior. At best, the police and criminal justice system are the last desperate line of defense for a civilized society. Our increased reliance on laws to regulate behavior is a measure of how uncivilized we’ve become.

In the end, it is only an internal moral compass in each individual that can effectively deal with the root causes as well as the symptoms of societal decay. Societies will struggle in vain to establish the common good until sin is denounced as sin and moral discipline takes its place in the pantheon of civic virtues

To care for your children includes religious upbringing. If you do not provide this it is the same as not providing clothing and food for your children.

Thomas S. Monson

He loves each of us

He will bless us as we keep His commandments

May we be good citizens in the nations we live reaching out to those of other faiths in our community

May we ever be mindful of the needs of those around us and be willing to extend a helping hand

Continous revelation is the very life blood of the gospel of Jesus Christ

I thank you for your prayers in my behalf

I bid you farewell my dear brothers and sister till we meet again in six months

remember God and that we pray to Him

Suffering and hardships happen

If ye are prepared ye shall not fear

the scriptures warn us of challenges that are not expected but will appear

The sin of ingratitude is a grievous sin

Find someone who is having a hard time and do something for them
